The Alliance team spent the last Monday of January taking part in a workplace safety, efficiency and quality training workshop led by our Safety Manager, Paul Kellaway. We were joined by our friends from MATES in Construction NSW who gave us an eye-opening General Awareness Training with regards to suicide in the Construction Industry and how we can become better trained to become positive influences. Our own site safety officer, Ahmad Zreika, also provided us with further information on safety from legal and practical aspects. Danny Mikati presented on learnings from recent findings across serious WHS investigations around the nation; highlighting the need for proactive and preventative systems and practices to ensure best practice in onsite safety.
